### When it is not the right fit

- One-off art or photos that no template covers: use an AI image model. Orshot can still place the result in your template with `.prompt` or an image URL.
- Editing a single image by hand once: a design tool is enough.

## How it works

1. Design a template in Orshot Studio, start from 2400+ library templates, or import from Canva or Figma. Mark the layers that change as dynamic: each becomes a field you fill.
2. Send the template ID and the values:

3. `data.content` holds the image URL. A multi-page template returns an array, one image per page.

No code: the same template runs from n8n, Make, Zapier, Google Sheets or an Orshot Workflow, and AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can call it over MCP.

## FAQ

### How much does an image cost?

1 credit per image. The free plan includes 100 credits every month with no card, and paid plans start at $39 a month.

### Can I generate several sizes of the same image?

Yes. Add `extraSizes` to the response and Smart Resize adapts the layout to each canvas, up to 50 extra outputs per call. No AI is involved, so the same input always gives the same output.

### Can AI write the text or make the picture?

Yes. Add `.prompt` to a text layer for AI copy or to an image layer for an AI image. Send a normal value too and it is used if generation fails.

### Do I need an API call for every image?

No. Turn on Dynamic URL for a template and the image is a link with the values in the query string, with a usage limit, cache time and expiry you set.
