### What HTML works best?

Structured, absolutely or relatively positioned layouts (the kind you'd design for a card, certificate, invoice, or social graphic) convert most faithfully. Long-form pages with responsive flexbox or grid layouts will still convert, just with less precise pagination.

### Is the PDF text selectable, or an image?

The free instant download is a high-resolution rasterized image embedded in the PDF. It's fast and looks exactly like what you see, but the text isn't selectable. If you need a true text-layer PDF rendered server-side from the same design, import it as an Orshot template and render it via the API.

### Do you store the HTML I paste or upload?

No. Pasted or uploaded HTML never leaves your browser during conversion. Fetching a URL is the one exception, since that page has to pass through our server briefly to get around browser CORS restrictions, but we don't store it. If you choose "Edit as Template," the HTML is sent to your account so it can be saved as an editable template.
