What is a Render?

Learn the notion of Renders in Orshot

When you sign up for Orshot, you have the option to choose either the Free plan or one of the paid plans

Each plan comes with a specific number of renders available. But what exactly is a render?

A render is a unit of measurement associated with each template. It represents the number of API requests required or the complexity to generate a particular template output—be it an image or a PDF. For each API call you make to render content, the render count defined by the template is deducted from your usage

Different templates have different render costs. Some templates consume one render per request, while others may use two or more, depending on the complexity of the rendering process
