Introduction#

The Orshot Pipedream integration enables you to generate dynamic images from pre-designed and AI-generated templates directly within your Pipedream workflows. This integration provides a seamless way to create personalized visuals, social media content, and branded graphics as part of your automated processes.

Actions Available#

• Generate Image from Library Template: Create images using pre-designed templates from Orshot's library
• Generate Image from Studio Template: Create images using custom templates built in Orshot Studio
• List Templates: Retrieve available templates and their metadata
• Template Management: Get modification keys and template details
• Multiple Output Formats: Support for PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, and PDF
• Flexible Response Types: Receive images as base64 data, binary content, or download URLs

How to Use#

1. Add Orshot to Your Workflow#

1. In your Pipedream workflow, click "+" to add a new step
2. Search for "Orshot" in the apps section
3. Select the Orshot app from the results

2. Connect Your Account#

1. Click "Connect Account" when prompted
2. Enter your Orshot API key (get it from Orshot Dashboard > Settings > API Key)
3. Test the connection to ensure it's working

3. Choose Your Action#

1. Select from available actions (Generate from Library Template or Studio Template)
2. Choose your template from the dropdown menu
3. Configure response type and format preferences
4. Add any required modifications as key-value pairs

4. Configure Output#

• Response Type: Choose base64 for inline use, URL for downloads, or binary for file processing
• Format: Select PNG for transparency, JPG for smaller size, or PDF for documents
• Modifications: Add dynamic content like text, colors, or images using workflow data
