Slack

The Orshot Slack integration delivers notifications directly to your Slack workspace. Get notified about completed renders, usage alerts, and errors — all without leaving Slack.

Connecting Slack#

1. Navigate to Workspace > Settings > Connections in your Orshot dashboard
2. Click Connect next to Slack
3. Select the Slack workspace and channel where you want notifications
4. Authorize Orshot to post messages

Notification Options#

Once connected, you can customize which notifications you receive:

Send Renders to Slack#

When enabled, every rendered image, PDF, or video is posted directly to your Slack channel. The file is uploaded with a link to view logs.

Overage Alerts#

Get notified when:

• Overage starts — You've exceeded your plan's render quota and are using overage renders
• Overage limit reached — You've hit your overage limit and renders are blocked

This is enabled by default.

Error Alerts#

Receive notifications when a render fails. The message includes:

• Template name
• Error status code
• Error message
• Link to view logs

This is enabled by default.

Usage Threshold Alerts#

Set percentage thresholds (50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%) to get notified when your monthly usage crosses those levels. Useful for monitoring usage before hitting limits.

Managing the Connection#

Enable/Disable Notifications#

Use the Enabled toggle to pause all Slack notifications without disconnecting. Your settings are preserved.

Send Test Notification#

Click Send Test to verify your Slack connection is working correctly.

Disconnect#

Click Disconnect to remove the Slack integration. This revokes Orshot's access to your Slack workspace.

Notification Examples#

Render notification:

Overage started:

Additional renders beyond your plan limit are billed at your overage rate. Go to Billing

Error alert:

🔴 Render Error in your Acme workspace
