Turn new job openings into hiring videos

Each new Airtable opening becomes a vertical hiring video with salary and benefits, posted to LinkedIn and Instagram with the link saved back to the record.

A hiring video for every open role, without editing

Most openings get a text post and a link because a video means a designer and a few days. This workflow makes the video part of opening the role. Add the job to Airtable and a branded hiring video renders and posts on its own.

This is the job post video template the workflow renders.

What happens when a role opens

  1. You add an opening to your Jobs table the way you already do.
  2. The workflow picks up the new record with its role, salary, benefits and apply link.
  3. Those values fill your hiring video template, scene by scene.
  4. Orshot renders an 11 second vertical MP4 with your brand fonts and colors.
  5. The video posts to LinkedIn and Instagram, and its link is saved back to the record.

What each video shows

The template turns one job record into three short scenes over your team photo:

  • The role with a We're Hiring badge, the job title and the location and work type.
  • The package with the salary range and three benefits, one per row.
  • Apply card with your company name and the application link in a large button.

Long job titles shrink to fit, so a three word title lands in the same frame as a one word title.

Who runs this

Startup founders
Every opening gets a hiring video the day it goes live, without a designer.
Talent teams
One template keeps every role on brand, whoever on the team adds the record.
Recruiting agencies
Videos for each client's openings, with one base and one template per client.
Multi-location employers
Store, warehouse and office roles announced as they open, one record each.

Prefer a static post? Set the render format to PNG and the same template posts the last frame as an image.

How it works, step by step

  1. Pick a job post video template

Start from the vertical hiring video template or design your company's own: role, location, salary, three benefits and an apply card.

  2. Connect your jobs base

Link Airtable and pick the Jobs table. One record per opening with fields for the details your video shows.

  3. Map job fields

Point the template's placeholders at your fields: role title, location, salary range, benefits, apply link and a team photo.

  4. Connect LinkedIn and Instagram

Link the accounts you post to. Each new opening renders as an MP4, posts, and the video link is saved back to the record.

Frequently asked

How do I make a video for every job opening?

Design one hiring video template with placeholders for the role, salary, benefits and apply link, then connect your jobs table. Orshot renders a vertical MP4 for each new record and posts it to LinkedIn and Instagram, so every opening gets a video without opening an editor.

Can I leave out the salary?

Yes. Send the pay range when you share it and a short line like "Competitive pay plus equity" when you don't. The field resizes to fit either.

Can I use my own office or team photo?

Yes. The background photo is a dynamic field. Add a photo URL or an attachment field to the record and each video uses its own image.

Where is the finished video saved?

The video URL is written back to a field on the job record, so the video sits next to the opening. You can also send it to Google Drive or Slack for the hiring team.

Can I trigger it from my ATS instead of Airtable?

Yes. The same template renders through the Orshot API, so you can start it from n8n, Make, Zapier or a webhook from your applicant tracking system.

Does it work for TikTok and Reels too?

Yes. The video is 1080 by 1920, so it fits LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts without resizing.
