Give your best tweets a second life as posts

Your best tweets already did the work once. They landed, people liked them, and then they scrolled off into your timeline where nobody finds them again. This workflow gives them a second life as image posts. Keep the tweets worth reusing in a Google Sheet, and once a day Orshot renders one as a branded graphic and posts it to Instagram and LinkedIn.

Turn a backlog of tweets into posts

Most people have months of good tweets sitting in an analytics export or a saved list. Paste the ones worth reposting into a sheet, one per row, with the handle you want credited. Each day the workflow takes the next row, drops the text onto your template, and publishes it. A running list quietly turns into weeks of posts, and you never open a design tool to make any of them.

How it works, step by step

  1. Design a post template

Build one image template in the studio with placeholders for the tweet text and the handle you want credited.

  2. List your tweets in a Google Sheet

Add one tweet per row, with a column for the text and a column for the author. This sheet is your queue.

  3. Set a daily schedule

Choose how often a post goes out. Each time it runs, the workflow renders the next row as a fresh graphic.

  4. Connect Instagram and LinkedIn

Link both accounts once. Every rendered image posts to the channels you pick, with no upload step.

Frequently asked

How do I turn tweets into image posts automatically?

Keep the tweets you want to reuse in a Google Sheet, one per row, and connect it to this workflow. On the schedule you set, Orshot renders each tweet as a branded graphic from your template and posts it to Instagram and LinkedIn.

Does it post to Instagram and LinkedIn at the same time?

Yes. Add both accounts as destinations and the same rendered image publishes to each of them in one run, so the post looks consistent across channels.

Can I control which tweets get reposted?

Yes. Only the rows in your sheet go out, so you decide exactly which tweets make the cut. Add rows when you want more, remove them when you do not.

Can I credit the original author?

Yes. Keep an author column in your sheet and place it on the template, so each card shows the handle it came from.

How is this different from a scheduling tool?

A scheduler posts images you already made. This makes the image from a line of text, so there is no design step between writing a tweet and posting it as a graphic.
