Hi 👋 ! Orshot crossed $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue this week
When I wrote the one year post in March, Orshot was at $5k a month. Seven months later it has doubled. Still a team of one, still profitable
Where Things Stand
All of this is live on the open startup page:
- $10,259 MRR
- 28,500+ users
- 1.3 million+ images, videos and PDFs automated
- Team size: 1

I made this chart with Orshot, via Claude. Claude designed the template and Orshot rendered it
A Few Customer Stories
The best part is seeing what people build with it:
- ClickUp generated yearly wrap banners for 100,000+ users, at 300+ banners a minute
- Brendi makes branded marketing images for 5,000+ restaurants across Brazil
- CreatorCore has automated 100,000+ visuals for influencer campaigns
- Cashew.sg, a mortgage advisory in Singapore, went from about 9 posts a month to 25
How It Feels
Honestly, the number matters less than the days
The ideas wake me up with all the excitement, and my days end with contentment
I get to build what customers ask for, ship it the same week, and watch it get used. That loop is the best part of this whole thing
There was no single big moment. Lots of small things, every day, compounding
And the work comes along wherever I go. Here's where I was when some of the bigger updates went out

Things I Keep Coming Back To
- Listen to customers. Almost every good feature started as someone's email
- Ship small and often. A fix today beats a launch next month
- Stay profitable. It keeps every decision honest
- Be fair on pricing. Every early customer still pays what they signed up for
- Use AI for the boring parts, keep the taste and the decisions yourself
- Stay close to family and friends. They keep you grounded when the graph goes up or down
What's Next
Orshot stays focused on what it does: an API for automated image, PDF and video generation from templates. Faster renders, a better Studio, and more ways to plug it into the tools you already use
And now that Orshot pays for itself, I can take more risks. So I'm also announcing Muzekit, more on it very soon 👀
Thank You!
To every customer who paid, reported a bug or sent a feature request, this one is yours too. Thank you for trusting a one-person company with your work
