What Orshot for Agents can do for you:

  • Generate on-brand templates
  • Render carousels, videos from your data
  • Manage your brand assets
  • Plug API, Automation Workflows
  • Post, draft, schedule social content
  • Analyze your social metrics
  • Tell your best time to post
  • See what gets engagement, what doesn't
  • Get every number you need to grow
Setup
  1. 1Open orshot.com in an agentic browser: ChatGPT agent mode, or Chrome with WebMCP enabled.
  2. 2That's it. The agent discovers Orshot's WebMCP tools on the page automatically: template search, pricing, and docs.
  3. 3Log in and the agent gets the full Orshot toolset (90+ tools) in the browser: render images, PDFs and video, manage templates, publish to social.

No connector, no URL to paste, no API key. Orshot registers tools via the WebMCP standard (document.modelContext), and your login is the authorization: agents act with a short-lived token scoped to your workspace.

Security and data handling

Connects to your workspace, touches nothing else.

OAuth 2.0, standards-compliant

Authorization code with PKCE and dynamic client registration, per the MCP Authorization spec. Tokens stay in your MCP client; the server does not store them.

Scoped to your workspace

Each connection accesses only the Orshot workspaces of the account that authorized it. Disconnect from your client at any time to end access.

Tool calls only

The server receives tool calls and their inputs, nothing else. It never reads your conversation, files or memory, and it only talks to Orshot's own API.

Annotated, permission-aware tools

Every tool declares read-only or write behavior, and destructive actions like delete and publish are marked so your client asks before running them.

FAQ

Using Orshot with Browser Agents

What is WebMCP and which browsers support it?

WebMCP is a W3C standard that lets websites expose tools directly to the AI agent in your browser. ChatGPT's browser supports it today, Chrome is running an origin trial (Gemini in Chrome), and more agentic browsers are adopting it. In any of them, orshot.com is already agent-ready.

What can a browser agent do on orshot.com without an account?

Search the 2,000+ template library, read template details, check live pricing, and read any docs page as markdown. With your account signed in, it gets the full Orshot toolset: rendering, template management, brand kit, workflows, and social publishing.

Is it safe? What can the agent access?

Logged out, tools only touch public data. Logged in, the page mints a short-lived token scoped to your active workspace; write actions are annotated so well-behaved agents ask before rendering (which uses plan credits) or publishing. Logging out ends access.

How is this different from connecting Orshot's MCP server?

Same tools, different transport. The MCP connector works everywhere (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Grok) including outside a browser; WebMCP needs zero setup but only works while you're on orshot.com in an agentic browser. Use both.

What can Browser Agents do with Orshot once connected?

You can ask Browser Agents in plain language to render images, PDFs and video from your Orshot templates, resize one design to every social format, and publish the result to social. No image infrastructure to build.

Is the Orshot MCP server free to use?

Connecting is free. Renders draw from your Orshot plan, and every account starts with 30 free credits and no credit card.

What data can the Orshot MCP server access?

Only the Orshot workspaces of the account that authorized it, over OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. The server receives tool calls and their inputs, never your conversation or files, and every call goes to Orshot's own API. Disconnect from your client at any time to end access.

How are risky actions like delete or publish handled?

Every tool declares whether it reads or writes, and destructive actions carry an explicit annotation, so MCP clients ask for confirmation before running them. Read-only tools like listing templates can run without a prompt.

Can Browser Agents post to my social accounts?

Yes, once you connect that account in your Orshot dashboard. After it is connected, Browser Agents can draft, schedule or publish to it. Rendering and everything else works without connecting any social account.
