A skill gives your agent Orshot's tools and the rules for one job, so the first result is usable and the next one runs on its own. No design work and no prompt tricks.
Install all eight with one command, or paste one skill page's link into the chat. Your agent signs in to Orshot once, with OAuth.

Step 3
Posted, scheduled and ready to repeat
The PNG, PDF or MP4 comes back in the chat, and the agent posts it or schedules it to your accounts. The template stays in your workspace, so next week runs from the API, n8n, Make or Zapier.
Why a skill
An image model guesses. A skill builds a template.
An image model redraws the whole picture every time, so the layout, fonts and numbers drift from post to post. With a skill, your agent designs a real template on your brand once, then renders it at any size with new copy.
Feed, 1:1Story, 9:16LinkedIn link adNext month, new copy
One template from the ad skill, rendered at three sizes and again with next month's copy. Every word is live text you can change through the API.
Exact words and prices
Text stays real text, so prices, names and dates come out right and stay editable.
Your brand, not a guess
Fonts, colours and logo come from your Orshot brand kit on every render.
Every size from one ask
Feed, story, LinkedIn and display sizes from one design, without redrawing it.
Runs again without you
Each skill leaves a template, so next week's post is one API call or a scheduled workflow.
“
Orshot turned content production from an hour-a-piece design exercise into something that runs off our existing workflow.
Consistent, on-brand, and fast enough that we actually ship daily.

What every skill uses
Skills run on Orshot, so the work keeps going.
The skill is the instructions. These are the Orshot features it calls, and you can use each of them on its own too.
“Make a 6-second 9:16 reel for our new Midnight Cold Brew. Use a close-up photo with a slow push-in, the name in a big serif, the price ($4.50) and a Shop now button that gets pressed at the end.”

Tips carousel
“Design a 5-slide Instagram carousel for my newsletter account: a bold cover that says 'Habits that grow a newsletter from zero', three tip slides with big numbers, and a follow slide. Cream, black and one orange accent.”
1080×1350 · PNG
Product card from a sheet
“Create a product card template with the product photo, name, price, compare-at price and a 'New in' badge. Then render one for every SKU in my product sheet.”
1414×1000 · PDF
Course certificate
“Design a landscape certificate of completion with the recipient's name, course, date, signature and a certificate ID. Then render a PDF for each attendee in my CSV.”
For developers
Writing your own Orshot code? Start from the base skills.
Every skill above builds on these two, and both install with the rest. Load them alone when your agent writes Orshot API code or designs a template from scratch.
A skill is a SKILL.md file that teaches an AI agent how to do one job: which tools to call, in what order, and the rules that make the result good. Claude, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenClaw and most coding agents load skills in the open Agent Skills format.
How do I give my agent an Orshot skill?
Open the skill's page, copy its link and paste it into your agent with what you want made. The agent reads the skill from the page's markdown version. To keep the skills installed, run npx skills add orshot-hq/orshot-agent-skills in your project, or install the Orshot plugin in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenClaw.
Can Claude generate images with these skills?
Yes. Claude does not draw images itself, but with an Orshot skill and the Orshot MCP server it designs a template on your brand and renders PNG, PDF or MP4 files. Because text stays real text, words, prices and logos come out exactly right.
Which skill should I use?
The one named after the job: blog images, video generator, ad creative, YouTube thumbnail, PDF generator, carousel, social media content or social media scheduler. Each skill says what it is not for and names the sibling to use instead, so the agent switches on its own.
What does it cost?
The skills are free and open source (MIT). Renders use credits from your Orshot plan, and every account gets 100 free credits a month with no card. Video renders and social posting need a paid plan.
Pick a skill, paste the link. 100 free credits every month.
No credit card. Your agent signs in to Orshot once and renders in the same chat.
