Authorization code with PKCE and dynamic client registration, per the MCP Authorization spec. Tokens stay in your MCP client; the server does not store them.

The server receives tool calls and their inputs, nothing else. It never reads your conversation, files or memory, and it only talks to Orshot's own API.

Every tool declares read-only or write behavior, and destructive actions like delete and publish are marked so your client asks before running them.

Does Replit Agent discover Orshot's tools automatically?

Yes. Replit scans MCP traffic and lists the available Orshot tools once you connect the server in the Integrations pane.

What transport type do I pick in Replit?

Choose Streamable HTTP, then paste the Orshot MCP URL and click Connect.

Can Replit Agent render images while it builds my app?

Yes. Once connected, the Replit agent can render Orshot templates as it scaffolds and iterates on your project.

Does Orshot need a local install to work in Replit?

No. It is a hosted remote server, so Replit connects over HTTP with nothing to run inside your repl.

How are risky actions like delete or publish handled?

Every tool declares whether it reads or writes, and destructive actions carry an explicit annotation, so MCP clients ask for confirmation before running them. Read-only tools like listing templates can run without a prompt.

Can Replit post to my social accounts?

Yes, once you connect that account in your Orshot dashboard. After it is connected, Replit can draft, schedule or publish to it. Rendering and everything else works without connecting any social account.
