How to add templates to a flow by folder or tag
Set How templates join to folders or tags. Matching templates join when you save, and new matching templates join as they're created.

By default, people add templates to a flow by hand. If a folder or tag already marks the templates that need approval, like a "Campaigns" folder or a "legal" tag, the flow can add them for you.
Only owners, admins and people with Manage access can change this, never reviewers. If the flow needs approval for automation, every template that joins is blocked for automation until it's approved, so check which automations use them first.
Set it up#

Open the General tab
On the flow's board, click Flow settings (the gear) and stay on General. Find How templates join.

Pick folders or tags
Choose Templates in chosen folders or tags join. Click Add folder or Add tag and pick them.

Choose where they start
Keep Templates start in on The first stage, or pick another stage before any approval.

Save and add the matching templates
Click Save. The dialog says what joins and what that means for automation. Click Save and add templates.
A template joins if it's in any of the folders or has any of the tags. Tags match whatever their capital letters. To put every template in the workspace in the flow, pick Every template in the workspace joins instead. Templates can't be taken out of that flow.
What joins, and when#

Large folders are added in batches, so give the board a moment and click Refresh board.
To see only some of the flow's templates, click Filter above the board and pick a folder or tags.
Common problems#

| Saving fails after you pick an approved stage in Templates start in | New templates must start before any approval. Pick Draft or a review stage. |
| A template you tagged yesterday isn't in the flow | Only new templates join by themselves. Add older ones with Add templates. |
| An automation stopped rendering after you saved | Its template joined a flow that needs approval for automation. Get it approved, or take it out of the flow. |
